1.Donations are non-refundable

All donations made to Aashraya Charitable Trust are voluntary and non-refundable. We deeply value every contribution and strive to use donated funds in the most impactful and transparent way to support our charitable activities.

2.Errors in donation amount

If you believe that an error was made in your donation amount, please contact us within 7 days of the transaction. We will review the request and, if found valid, process a correction or partial refund at our discretion.

3.Duplicate transactions

If you have made a duplicate donation in error (e.g., two identical donations made in a short time frame), please notify us immediately by email or phone. Once verified, we will initiate a refund for the duplicated amount.

4.Unauthorized transactions

In the event of a fraudulent or unauthorized donation made using your payment method, kindly report it to us and your bank/payment provider at the earliest. Refunds in such cases will be processed based on verification and confirmation from the payment gateway or banking partner.

5.Mode of refund

Refunds, if applicable, will be made using the original mode of payment and may take 7–10 business days to reflect in your account depending on your bank/payment gateway.

6.Tax exemption certificates

In cases where a refund is processed after the issuance of an 80G Tax Exemption Certificate, the donor must return or invalidate the certificate. Refunds will not be processed unless this requirement is met, as per compliance rules under the Indian Income Tax Act..

7. International donations

International donations made under FCRA compliance are also considered non-refundable, except in cases of duplicate or fraudulent transactions, subject to verification and regulatory requirements.
